Remove the cover from the desk chair and rip open the seams with a sharp-pointed scissors or seam ripper. Separate the front panel from the bent piece. Draw the shape of the arm cover pieces of paper to make a pattern. Cut two pieces of a coordinating fabric covering for each arm cover you do.
Pin the rounded edge of the front slipcover pieces to the front edge of the arm cover piece so the right sides of the fabric is moving. See the original slipcover pieces to see how the pieces fit together. Sew the two parts of the arm slipcover together with a 1/4-inch seam.
Fold the raw edges coated 1/4 inch to the wrong side of the slipcover, and then fold another 1/4 inch to make a clean edge. Pin the folded hem to keep it while sewing. Secure the fold by stitching the edge with a straight stitch. Repeat the cutting and sewing step for each arm slipcover. Spray the right side of the cover with a stain protective clothing spray to help keep slipcovers clean for making comfortable desk chair.
